Johann was so young when he put on his first skis that he doesn't even remember it. After participating in several ski competitions, he decided to become a ski instructor to have fun sharing his passion with his students. In about twenty years of instructorship, his favourite moment is the joy of the students who take pleasure in skiing. For him, esf represents the pleasure of skiing and the seriousness of learning.

In the summer, Johann works as a restaurateur, a job that allows him to stay in touch with people. Mainly passionate about the mountain environment, he is also interested in computers and DIY. In Avoriaz, his favourite slope is Les Lindarets.
