Born with skis at his feet, Gérald started to ski very early which allowed him to acquire a wide experience. Gérald discovered the resort of Avoriaz back when he was a young instructor, the novelty of it made him very curious. 

The ESF has a high knowledge of the land, a great teaching method and high level of professionalism. Besides skiing, Gérald worked as a tennis instructor and a storekeeper. When he participated to the Instructor challenge, in traveled to Colorado and discovered brand new infrastructures. 

When we asked him about his best teaching memories, Gérald mentions teaching Michel Denisot, famous french presenter, before going to his house to watch football games. His favorite slope is the Coupe du Monde.
