ESF clients may evaluate their level by passing tests organised at the end of each weeks skiing.
Children’s tests from L’Ourson through to L’Etoile d’Or are included in the week’s price although the badges may be bought at the office. Children’s tests (age 4 to 13) Flocon

| Ourson (Bear): snow plough turns, straight run stopping in snow plough. |

Flocon (Snowflake): linking snow plough turns, bringing back ski to parallel position. Test of balance on gentle slopes. |
 |
| 1ère étoile (1st star): linking snow plough turns finishing in parallel on blue slopes. |
 |
| 2ème étoile (2nd star): linking a dozen parallel turns on a laid out course on blue slopes, uphill turning steps. |
 |
| 3ème étoile (3rd star): linking a dozen turns on a course marked out by gates, straight descent with speed finishing with a parallel stop . |
 |
| Etoile de Bronze (Bronze star): untimed course of 15/20 gates with change of rhythm on different slopes, small turns, small bumps on slopes or boarder cross. |
 |
| Etoile d'Or (Gold star): timed giant slalom, evolution of technique: long turns, small turns and small jump. |
 |
